We’re excited to have played a part in the reboot of the iconic series ROOTS, a powerful four-night event on HISTORY. Ballast tackled several VFX shots and animated graphic sequences, including the two-minute finale of night four. After all, the last scene is the cornerstone of any great series—no pressure, right? We aimed to deliver a memorable conclusion that truly captures the essence of this important story.
